Cannabinoids are separated and quantified on a Shimadzu Nexera UFLC 2040 with PDA (photodiode array detector).
Our standard cannabinoid method quantifies 11 compounds and we have the option of an expanded cannabinoid panel that includes 17 total compounds.
We can test various matrices including flower, extract, concentrate, distillate, tinctures, topicals, beverages and other edibles.
Due to the complex nature of various products and the growing number of products that companies are infusing with cannabinoids, if you have a special formulation, it’s helpful to communicate as much information as you can ahead of time so we can more accurately and efficiently process your sample. Sending in a non-infused “blank” with all the ingredients except the cannabinoids can be useful for problematic formulations or products that contain lots of ingredients. We can also work with you to figure out the best sample prep method for your specific formulation. Ask our Client Relations Specialist or Science Director for assistance.
