Rachael Keener holds a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She has 4 years of regulated analytical laboratory experience working on drug development and cancer research projects.
After graduating college, Rachael worked as a lab tech prepping samples for Pharmacokinetic studies at Accium BioSciences. Here she performed Absolute Bioavailability and Metabolite Profiling studies. She later worked at Biodesix performing a quantitative Proteomic assay pertaining to lung cancer. She has also participated in several R&D experiments throughout her career.
Rachael has worked with a variety of chemical instrumentation such as UV-Vis, HPLC, and LC/MS/MS. She is familiar with different types of molecular extraction techniques. She understands laboratory workflow and the importance of maintaining precision and accuracy.
At Medicine Creek Analytics, Rachael has multiple roles. She preps samples for a variety of analysis, operates instrumentation, analyzes data, and performs R&D studies. Rachael is passionate about contributing to a quality outcome, as well as furthering her own knowledge and skills.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time outdoors. She also enjoys visiting her family, hiking with her dog, traveling, cooking, and exploring the beauty of the PNW.
